A basic query, but when viewing my calendar the display will not show Saturdays and Sundays and I cannot find an option to enable this. Is this change-able, or am I stuck with Mon to Fri?

Thanks folks,
Kieron.

Is it possible to add appointment times that do not end in 15 30 45 or 00? If so, how?

Sure. Just type it in. Don't click the trackwheel and use the 15/30/45. Just type in 36 and that will set the time.

After backing up my calendar (7250) I would like to delete all entries before today (or any given day) from my handheld. Any way? Thanks. Steve

Hey quick question I searched for and couldn't find through this thread. And I searched and found this one.

I am getting a message on synch to delete some appts. after they have expired. I am not sure where to fix this. I have searched everywhere and can't find out why.

Any clues.

Does any one know how to get group calendars syncronising wirelessly, instead of, or maybe with personal calendars? Email server is exchange 5.5, and BES server is 4.0
cheers

I would like to create invitations for meetings on my BB 7520 but cannot find it? I have researched the manual and followed the instructions but there is no option for invitations.

Thanks.

Default Setting Appointments

Hello All,

I am knew to the thread so please forgive me if I post this in the wrong area...I need help with changing the retention time of set appointments...Blackberry 7250, it's as if there is an auto cleanup feature turned on that deletes old appointments after so many days....I need to know how to adjust this...Now the manual states go to calendar and there should be an option of Setting Appointments when I press the trackwheel but there is not....any ideas???

Are you syncing using the Desktop Manager? If so, there's a setting in the Intellisync for future appointments. This may be your problem.

I have a BB 7290. Is it possible to copy or cut/paste an entry, say if an appointment requires to be moved to a different day, or if I have a number of similar appoitments on different days. Please advise.

I'm pretty new to the Blackberry, so please take it easy on me.

In the month view of the calendar, scheduled appointments are marked on the left side of the days. I didn't see any indication that there is an all-day event scheduled on a day. I use these quite a lot in my calendar and would like to see at a glance that they are there. Is there any way to get them to show up in the month view.

Thanks,
Todd

The number on that day will be in bold print. I also wish there was a different way but have not seen the option to do so.

I've only had a Blackberry for 4 months but have taken in so much info from this site.

I love the tips on how to do things.

I'm a new BB user coming from the Palm OS. Is there an inexpensive way to "link" calendar appointments with contacts? With Datebk5, a Palm OS program, I was able to "link" a contact with my calendar appointment so that I could just click a link for the contact's information without going directly to the address book. I don't see an option for this on the BB.

Sorry. Search for Datebk5, and you'll find that you can't do what you want to do. Can't even do a Call Joe Smith in the calendar and have it look up or link the phone number. Basic but the rest of it is worth it. Make sure you learn the calendar shortcuts in my tips docs at my site.
