I was dirt biking in cold rainy weather & even though I packed my 8330 into 2 ziplock plastic bags it succumbed to condensation & would not power on. At home I popped out the battery & stuck the unit in a bag of rice for about 24 hours, then completely disassembled it & cleaned it up with rubbing alcohol.

Anyway, all is well now except for a keyboard issue. At first the letter 'i' would not want to work unless I really hammered on the key, so I took it apart again, carefully cleaned the white pad that the keys click onto & put it back together. Now the letter 'i' works fine but the letter 'o' is having the same issue now. I repeat the process & it seems one of those 2 keys refuses to play nice.

Thoughts/suggestions?

You probably need to remove the white pad that they keys press on and clean both the silver coloured contacts on the bottom of it and the circular copper contacts on the circuit board.

My method is to start at one of the bottom corners and gently slide the blade of a craft knife under the white film until you have enough to get hold of and then very gently ease it away from the circuit board.Once you have it off you will see that there are silver coloured round contacts on the bottom of it,these make contact with the round copper rings on the circuit board when you press a key.Once you have cleaned it all the keys should work again.
