New user of the Z10. Stopped receiving my e mail from both Hotmail accounts. Unable to send either. Blackberry connected to Wi fi network. Browser operating normally. Can someone help????

You can try removing the account and adding it back again. I haven't had any issues with outlook/hotmail.

DELETED both Hotmail accounts. CREATED NEW ACCOUNTS...... Checking for supported services and policy information..... REPLIED: m.hotmail.com for account ( ) is not responding. The server name in your account settings might be incorrect.............

WHAT IS HAPPENING? WAS WORKING FINE BEFORE....

m.hotmail.com is no longer a valid server. With all due respect, it wasn't working before, or you would not have created a thread asking why you can't send and receive mail.

change m.hotmail.com to
blu-m.hotmail.com
dub-m.hotmail.com
stn-m.hotmail.com
bay-m.hotmail.com
col-m.hotmail.com
snt-m.hotmail.com.

One of those will work. If you do not want to try them all, then log into your account on a PC and look at the address bar, use the server that matches your inbox address.

I have received and sent normally e mails from my Z10 for two weeks. Stopped working yesterday... makes no sense

When I set up Hotmail on my Q10 I went into Settings > Accounts and then went to Advanced (icon with two slider bars on bottom of screen) and chose Hotmail.

Username is your complete Hotmail address.
Domain left blank.
blu-m.hotmail.com works for me as a server address.
Everything else is the default settings.

Thanks!!I did excactly this and got the same message.. after checking for supported services, returned me : the server blu-m.hotmail.com is not responding.......... I do nbot understand what is going on..

The server that you use is the one that appears in your browser's address bar when you login.

Don't the browser on the Z10 not using the BB server anymore? I do not seem to be able to find the server's name ..

Tried with POP/ SMTP.. not responding either... I have no idea... Browser working perfectly and other blackblerry ( 8520) receiving E mails normally..

Guys, I managed to reset the Z10 and get my e mails accounts back online. For reasons unknown to me, I had to turn on the data services while simultaneously turn off the WIFI network. Only then , was I able to reset the e mails accounts. Do not ask me why it was so difficult on the self standing WIFI network alone....

AFTER you log in (manually or automatically) you should see something like this in your browser address bar:
