Just activated my BB today...downloaded the latest version of verichat and installed it just fine. I am running 4.0 btw.

When I log on, it just sits at the pic with the status bar at the bottom....and never gets any further.

Any thoughts??

How new is your 7520?

If you just activated your 7250 just a few days ago, you need to wait about 2-3 days to make sure the data services are fully provisioned. If not, then call Nextel to make sure you've got data services for third party Internet applications (Packetstream? I think that's what it is called..)

I activated it yesterday

Called Nextel up today and they said that packetstream is part of the bb service...so I guess I play the waiting game then??

Interesting also is that I cant do any OTA downloads...I get error 404

mine took about a day and a half. make sure when u restart ur bb u get the email that says ur registered to the network , or u can do it in the settings, i forget where, the bb is downstairs.

also try to cancel the login process with teh esc key then hit the menu then login

Yeah I get that email when I restart the bb. I also tried canceling the login and restarting. Does my services perhaps not being completely provisioned have anything to do with not being able to download OTA?

I am now up and running! Thanks to everyone for their help. Quick question, is there anyway to see what a buddie\'s away message is? I have buddies that are away but appear to not be.

I feel your pain coolnes, that is the reason I switched back to WebMessenger. Hopefully in the next release !!
