Default ? Re: International Calling with Verizon

Please Login to Remove!

I was recently speaking with a group of BES Admins and was told by someone that their carrier is Verizon, however when they have people go international they switch them to T-mobile due to coverage areas? Anyone have any experience with this. I hear that you have to delete the person from the BES and re add them???? Is this true.

Thanks for all your help

Since Verizon phones work in few places outside of North America, it is not uncommon to make a switch to a GSM based carrier before going overseas.

You do not need to delete and re-add them. If you are using Desktop Manager, when they connect the BB, they are asked if they want to change PINs. If they reply Yes, their new (International capable) BB is now put in service.
