Default Bold 9700 Will Not Play WMVs

Please Login to Remove!

As the title states, my 9700 will not play WMVs.

Example:

I paid for and downloaded The Dark Knight wmv and loaded it to my MicroSD card to watch on my 9700. The video generates an error when selected to play on the 9700.

I read the specs again:

Multimedia Features

Playback Digital Video Formats
3gp
H.264
MPEG-4
H.263 video and AMR audio
WMV (Windows Media Video)

Any thoughts or suggestions? I'm happy to provide more information.

EDIT: Does this have anything to do with DRM? Should I upload the digital file to my 9700 using Windows Media Player (if that is even possible)?

Thanks!

Try media manager in the Blackberry desktop.
