Dear all,

I'm preparing to upgrade my BES 3.6 Server to 4.0.

I understand the all BB should be upgrade to device code 4.0 as well.

My question: Do I need to obtain this device code from my provider (Swisscom ) or is this device code provider independent and can be downloaded from RIM?

I know this link. But this is only the Desktop Software.

Is the device code included in the desktop Software?

Swisscom should still provide handheld SW, I can send you a link for handheld version 4.0.2 if you need. What devices are you running?
