I know this is set at opitons/e-mal reconciliation but is there another setting where the e-mail deletes on the BB when the message is moved to a different folder in Outlook??

Do you mean Hide Filed messages? In messages/Options/general

i guess we need to know why you are asking. are you experiencing a problem where messages moved to folders in outlook appear to be deleted on the blackberry inbox? if so, you need to view folders, hence the hide filed messages reference.

I was assuming he meant that the messages are still onthe BB inthe message list after they are filed - my users don't ususally realize that the icon is no longer an envelope but a file folder - then we change hide filed messages to yes and they all go away and yes, you have to then view folder to see them

Nope. If you're on BES and you move a mesage into a folder on your PC the message will display as filed on the BB. Deletions are only reconciled with the Blackberry if you delete on your PC and you're set up to delete on both the handheld and mailbox.
