Can anyone tell me if there is a way to type messages on BBM and press the enter key to go to the next line without sending lots of individual messages

If you hold down the CAPS key on full-qwerty keypad BlackBerry devices and then press Enter, it will give you a new line.

Open BBM, press Menu, select Options, uncheck "Press Enter to Send", press ESC, select Save.
