Default Still a little buggy...

Guess we can look forward to another "leaked" OS in the coming days...

I have every single one of my 500 personal contacts saved in format (xxx) xxx-xxxx and also all 1600 of my public contacts synced up in the same format and the senders name always shows in my text messages and i'm on 5.0.0.296...it can't be the OS, it's got to be something else.

You obviously are not reading the thread. It started with 5.0.0.344 and became worse in .351 and now .371. 5.0.0.296 is not affected by the bug.

I guess what I meant is 5.0.0.296 has been completely stable and working great for me. Why are people wanting to upgrade in the first place if everything is working?

why did you upgrade to a 9700 from a 9000 if your 9000 was working great?

No release notes. No major changes or fixes that I've observed.

What I have done to kind of help with the SMS issue is to add the SMS contact to BlackBerry Messenger 5. This seems to allow the name to show instead of the number.
