Default How do you refresh the GAL list inside the BES Manager?

Please Login to Remove!

How can I refresh the GAL when adding users from the BES Manager? I updated the MAPI profile to another Exchange environment, and when I run the IEMSTest.exe it pulls up correct GAL after connecting to the Exchange server, but within BES manager it still shows the old GAL information when trying to add users.
Hope this makes sense.

Thanks

Solved. There are two different MAPI profiles being used separately by the Blackberry Enterprise Server and the Blackberry Manager in versions 4.1.x. Had to remove the Blackberry Manager profile from registry. I was alwasy wondering why it always asked me to setup the MAPI profile whenever first time I start the Blackberry Manager after installation even though I provide MAPI settings during the installation, and this explains it.

The change should be instant for the GAL when adding users.

What version of BES are you running ?

My BES is 4.1.2.
It is instant. The problem was that there are two different MAPI profiles/settings to update. The "Edit MAPI Profile" found under BES start menu for instance updates it for the Server (like for all the Blackberry services). However, Blackberry Manager keeps it's own MAPI profile. This is kept in the registery. My problem was I did update the settings in "Edit MAPI Profile" which updated the BES server services, and did not know there was a separate profile to be updated for Blackberry Manager.
