Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry Curve 8900)

And I am assuming that your Keep Messages option is set to Forever. Is that correct?

No, that is fine. I just wanted to make sure that it was set to that. Have you tried removing the account and re-adding it?

Im having the same exact problem, however im dealing with hotmail emails. My 3 other gmail accounts are fine... My hotmail account emails delete themselves sometimes minutes after i read them.

I have around 20 mb memory available and messages are set to keep forever.

Oh, and im using a 8330 curve...

Try clearing the browser cache, clearing the phone log, clear the actual logs (alt "l" "g" twice no caps), do a battery pull. Also, go to options > status, what is file free?

Here is a question for you. Did you take a lot of pictures with your phone?

Reason I ask is that I have seen this on the old curve (83xx). After 10 or so pictures, it would start to delete emails to make space for pictures. I know bold has more memory then the curves did, but could possibly be same reason. This issue was solved on curves by adding a microSD card and moving all pictures to it. Also setting it to save all pictures/videos to the card.

Hope this helps! Good Luck!

Yes of course. I always keep all images and media on sd card. That's never an issue for me. Been using bb's for a while and never had this issue. Gonna have to upgrade to the 9700. More memory

Normally it never gets below 20mb file free. That's why I'm confused at why it keeps deleting emails periodically. I make a habit of deleting phone logs, sent emails, etc.
