this is true also.....probably none of the waves coming from devices will kill anyone unless they decided to cram themselves in a microwave and crank it to HIGH.....

but then again, i can see the trend where portable devices are emitting more and more waves. i don't want something like that up against my face all the time. and only use bluetooth in the car when necessary.

i just talked a tmo rep tonight and he said two new blackberrys by the end of the year. Obviously the 8320, the other i dont know, maybe the new pearl, or the 8820. cant wait regardless

FWIW, I have a Nokia N95. It supports UMTS at 2100mhz only; meaning Europe and Asia's flagship high-band UMTS frequency. AT&T operates at 850mhz and 1900mhz for UMTS. T-Mobile's 2100mhz (and 1700mhz) network most likely won't be compatible with the current European and Asian 2100mhz devices. So to reply to your post, there's no current device that is penta- or septa-band UMTS compatible. This is why TMO's small market beta launch of UMTS later this year (assuming that's the time frame) will likely be fairly limited at 'launch'.

Gee... different rumors about the release date for the Curve.

I do hope it comes out in late August. I am somewhat getting tired of the small screen and suretype.

Few weeks ago, I decided to check out the 8300 Curve for AT&T. It looks cool and feels good in the hand.

Definitely the best BlackBerry I've had to date. I'm actually looking forward to the 8310 moreso than the 8320. If I decide to go with T-Mobile, I may look into the 8320, but who knows. I've got huge 'pocket buldge' already with my 8300 and iPhone... kind of reminds me of a joke. LOL!

well jibi under the hood th 8800 an the 8300 ir virtually the same with 2 exeptions.
1 the 8300 trades the gps for a camera
2 the 8800 is a bit taller than the 8300

bith have media slots noth have a 312mhz processor.

even tho wifi is cool, it's a significant shot in the foot when you consider how much slower your internet connection will be when compared to a physical wire to the router/modem.....
