Default 8700 Themes - mobile.blackberry.com - D/L Error

Please Login to Remove!

I'm unable to download any of the themes for the 8700 from mobile.blackberry.net. Every time I download, it gets an error. If I click on "details" it says something like "Request Entity too large".

Fails like this on either Blackberry browser or Cingular browser. I'm not having any other download issues except from that site.

Ideas??

Bob

Just try again - I had that issue for a couple of tries and then I was sccessful - it might be due to the data connection in your area

No, it does not work on mine when I try to download the Overlord Theme. Anyone know if I can download it elsewhere and upload it through Desktop Manager?

Full error:

"907 Invalid COD HTTP Error 413: Request Entity Too Large"

Using the BlackBerry Browser on my 8700

It's mobile.blackberry.com (not .net)

Default Update on d/l problems

Been working with Cingulafr on this. They think it's related to some configuration problems on the BES, but so far the fixes they suggested have not worked.

Does anyone have these theme files in a zip file they could share?

Make sure your APN, Username and Password are set correctly. It works just fine for me. I am on Cingular Blue so I only need APN of proxy.

I got my 8700r when my BES was 3.6.6 exchange 2k.
I received that error when d/ling.
A week later, upgraded to BES 4.0whatever exch 2k, same machine in-place upgrade.
I can now download large items, and quite fast!
