Hmmm, one of those fineprint things Verizon get you with.

In the case anyone is thinking of the Storm make sure you are aware of this when you want to return it.

So the 30 day refund policy isn't truly without a cost as some would like you to believe.

I don't know about other people, but it says that clearly at the bottom of my receipt and not so much in fine print.. plus it's been mentioned many times here on the forum. Also if I understand it correctly it's for all devices if you don't return it for the same kind of device.

Well unfortunately I bought into the whole "Get a Storm and try it for 30 days ... ", this is the first time I have ever returned a phone and I haven't heard of this before.

That policy started at the beginning of November, it hasn't always been that way. There are just way to many people trying to take advantage of policies these days, it's a measure to try to curtail it as much as possible.

The way I read it, the restocking fee only applies if you exchange it or purchase another device.

If you just return it you shouldn't have a restocking fee, correct?
(ie. You go back to using your old phone)
