Thats one of the reasons I haven't moved to 2.0.
Sometimes I can't even view all my e-mail on the BlackBerry, so I got to go online.
Hope they allow to use it again on the next upgrade.

All..this utility can any email from any account and you can Reply from any other account. This changes the FROM address. Essentially it copies the email and uses the normal BB email compose screen where you can select which email account to send from.
If you forward your email from multiple accounts to your BB so you get instant email, this allows you to reply properly.

That is fantastic. This was the real killer for me when I went to 2.0. Great job CRS. Can't test this now, because i am going on my third day with Sprint with no emails.

I don't follow the logic here; to me, the BIS would still have to poll that POP3/IMAP account before it receives it to forward it.

cfjacksn - you would need to set up forwarding on your POP/IMAP accounts to forward all of your e-mail to your carrier.blackberry.net address (not on BIS, but directly on your POP/IMAP accounts)....This will eliminate the 10-15 minute polling time. If you have forwarding set up and if your e-mail provider instantly forwards e-mails (server issues may come into play) then you will receive it on your BB as soon as you see it in your inbox on your desktop/laptop....

What am I doing wrong?
I upgraded (or whatever) to BIS 2.0. Everything went well and I have the additional e-mail icons for the various accounts I set up.
I did an OTA installation of this software. Everything seemed to go well there, too. I got the new icon for PDAReplyAsNew. I pulled the battery for a few minutes to do a "real" reboot.
When I try to select the PDARelpyAsNew icon, nothing happens. Is anything supposed to happen?
I can get it to work within the e-mail program, and it's great. I'm just wondering about the icon. What's it for?
Many thanks, in advance, for the help.

Same thing for me as well, 7100i. Do not see anything in menu nor does the icon do anything...

Ixxx8217;m not too worried about accessing the app via icon (itxxx8217;s hidden anyway), as long as it does what itxxx8217;s supposed to do when Ixxx8217;m in an email.

Guys, the Icon is a mistake. It won't do anything. Just hide it.

Perfect - this was exactly what I needed as I forward my ISP mail to gmail as a spam filter - now can reply to those emails as my ISP from address. Very nice!

Thanks, I already knew that part. I was assuming that the OP was talking about using this app to eliminate the polling interval. That's the part I didn't understand. I know that you could use forwarding, but some email services don't allow forwarding (Yahoo), and some that do, forward everything including spam. GMail is the only one that is smart about what to forward.

I appreciate all your work on this application. I, too, would be interested in having a "reply to all" ability.
Many thanks.

I have this program and I can't seem to understand one part.

At this point I get a screen that has the number 138 on topm my name on the screen and everything else is blank.

I forgot to mention that this utility requires BlackBerry OS version 4.1 or higher.
Are you running that?

I think this requires the "Sent from" address option to notheless each be set up as 'dummy' accounts on the BIS 2.0, right? Otherwise you that won't/can't appear as choices, can they (ie you can't just type in ANY address on the fly)?
