I'm not surprised at all. The 7250 is considered legacy technology at this point and has been superseded by the 7130e, 8703e and 8830.

The 7250 was a brick and I mean that in a good way. It didn't matter what you did to that thing, it always worked. I'm scared to death about dropping my 8703e on the ground where my 7250, I never worried about dropping it at all. My son has a 7250 because of all the abuse that it can take compared to a regular cell phone.

Yes, so true. I have a 7250, dropped it a bunch of times and works flawlessly, and even better, since the screen is not flush with the front of the device, it resists scratches REALLY well.

Oh well, im gonna get an 8703e anyway.

Great device. I only traded in because I wanted to have access to more current technology. After using the trackball on my 8830 for the past month, I am not missing the trackwheel. Through, I will miss the device for its spread-out, well-lit keyboard.

Unhappy So long ol' pal

I have to say it stinks that the 7250 is no longer being used. I understand that it's old tech, but i can't count the number of time I've dropped mine, including a few trips across a parking lot. Other than some scratches on the back, works like a charm. Did have to replace one after it took a little swim, otherwise it was a tank.
