Default Viigo for the Storm...Any News??

Please Login to Remove!

Has anyone heard any news about the storm version of Viigo? It seems the main version is updated almost weekly but the storm version remains the same? Dont get me wrong I love this app but i am hoping they will fix the slight scrolling issues and also the freezes that occur while updating the channels. I usually have to sit there and wait for it to finish updating before i can use my Storm..

Just wondering if anyone had any news...?? Many Thanks

It's coming soon! That's pretty much all I can say ;) The alpha version runs decent for an alpha! If you are having problems with the back button issue, hold it down for just a little longer than normal and it'll work properly!

Memory issue is not SO bad but will be improved on the next revision as well!

getviigo.com/beta

then turn off compatibility mode.
the only problem is, you must touch screen after presing back button to go back, anything else works fine.

regards

FYI, the app is greatly improved on new OS .83... menu transitions are smooth, etc.

Interesting note, I am on .75 and don't have Viigo installed because of it's craptacular performance on the storm. Perhaps I should update the OS and give it a try again. I truly miss Viigo ..

Go to viigo.com from your BB browser and download 3.0.710 which is the latest beta for the Storm.

transitions between screens appears to have improved. But it still appears to freeze for about a minute while it updates all the channels. Does this also happen on yours? I am hoping it gets fixed soon. I love the app but i literally have to put it down while it updates since it makes the phone useless while its doing this...

Yea, from what I read the freezing is common. It hasn't stopped me from loving the app though.

On OS .83 Viigo works perfectly. Granted I haven't even had the OS installed for 24 hours, but Viigo no longer requires two escape key presses to go back and no longer freezes the BB while updating.
