Default LED blinking

Please Login to Remove!

my bold recently started blinking when i receive a sms txt, and even if i have already read the txt msg, it (led) keep on blinking. I have to rest the phone to make it stop!. what do i have to do to stop the led from blinking! thanks

Pull the battery out and then put it back in.

I didn't think so.
Um...actually..um yes. A battery pull is the first step in all BB troubleshooting as it reset the OS which is what usually causes unusual behaviors.

You clearly do not know anything about troubleshooting a blackberry. Removing the battery resets the device (but doesn't cause you to lose any data) and usually fixes most problems with a blackberry.

go to your selected Profile,menu key and edit mode -- SMS text select repeat notification set it to NONE.
