Default BB 7250 with no slot for SIM card ?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone !

I've a problem to understand something, but i'm sure here, someone will explain me what it is !!!

I explain : i've bought at US a lot of BB 7250 series, around 10 pieces in very very good condition.
BUT : all this BB haven't slot for SIM card. I'm newby in cellphone and in Blackberry, so i need informations for myself.

BB with no slot for SIM cards cannot be sell in froggy'land. So, ok for me, i do a mistake. But, i want to understand what is this king of BB.

In US, have you got this ? What is the system on this BB to communicate ? Is there BB are make just for internal compagnie communication ? Does it is possible to make them working on a different way ?

Thanks a lot for yours replies (it's just for my "culture")...

The 7250 is a CDMA device. There is no SIM slot and it won't work on a GSM network.
It's designed for wireless carriers that have a CDMA network, such as Sprint and Verizon in the United States.

Thaks a lot for your reply. It's what i thinking about.
So, in back of BB, i don't have the IMEI number, instead i've an ESN number.
Do anyone known in which countries this CDMA netwotk work (like UK?) ? It's for sell them because, we, froggies people, aren't ables to work with CDMA network.

USA/Canada has CDMA networks, Verizon, Sprint and Virgin Mobile I believe.
UK is also GSM, like France. I don't know of any other CDMA networks in the rest of the world.

There are a few. India. Israel. Gabsou, use Google and search around. The answers are all there.

As far as the 7250 handheld OS, look in the Legacy Device section. The 7250 is very old and very limited.

I know it's very old (2005), but at this period, RIM was just in professional world, no APN for family or pets pictures at this time !!!!
I'll find countries on gogol, before, i just have to know the really way of network connection for explain it, and you have reply to my question about, so thanks a lot !!!!
I think that i'll try to sell them in UK, near of froggies, it's better for me.
Today i've take batteries and cover (they're in NEW conditions!) to mount them on french ones 7290, so i've good ones unlocked with sim slot.
And, french people like old 7xxx series (we're a little late...)
