Lightbulb Step by Step on how to take PICS w/out camera sound

Please Login to Remove!

Saw a bunch of posts here on questioning how to do this.
I found one answer involving using the headset.
Here is a nifty workaround that takes about 4 secs
and you can take silent pics ninja style w/out headphones

Just providing the info..

1. call voicemail
2. turn volume all the way down
3. press right side key (if camera is assigned to it)
4. phone will ask "continue call and exit to camera?"
5. select yes
6. take pics stealth style
7. exit camera
8. exit phone call

notes: voicemail will eventually hang up on you...after that camera will
make the shutter sound. I think voicemail goes for about two mins
without any activity from you (not positive on this one)

I guess if you knew another number that just was an automated
machine rambling on for a long time that would work fine as well

remember to turn volume up next time you make a call.
DON'T TAKE PICS OF ANYTHING STUPID !!!!!!!!!!

not what i had in mind...i was thinking more along the lines
of infiltrating Krispy Kremes and snapping pics of their
top secret donut mix recipe and selling it to Dunkin Donuts.

I am not on an unlimited minutes plan.

Plug in a headset, play an MP3, pause it and then take all the pics you want for as long as you want. If you want to be real sneaky, cut off the headset cord and just plug in the stump.

does it have to be Voice Mail, or can you dial 611 since that is free? I haven't tried either method
