Default BES Problems since outage - Sprint network

Please Login to Remove!

I've been having an unusually high number of users that are not getting emails on their Blackberries since the outage last week. Anyone else seeing this? We are on the Sprint network, and for the most part, except for a couple of Pearls, we are using 8830s. Any help would be appreciated.

In fact, I had to do an enterprise activation again for one user on Wednesday and it was working. He just told me that it stopped working again today (friday). Any ideas would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums!

We haven't seen anything like that ... have you restarted your BES since the outages?

Actually, I don't think I have - I have started a lot of the services, including the router and synchronization services. I'll schedule a reboot and see if that helps any.

I had this problem with Sprint a couple months ago quite frequently. It's still happening, but not as frequently. What does the last contact time show in BB Manager? Have you tried resending the service books or it policy to see if they get delivered? Is the guy in your example in a unique area/work conditions which may not get a good signal or are other BB's working in the same area/work conditions?

My solution was to rebuild the BES (it needed it) and start rebooting it nightly. Seems to have cleared up most of the problems.

Have you tried resetting the device (remove battery, put back in)?
