Default Telus 9700 MEP-LOADED

Please Login to Remove!

I am trying to unlock a Telus 9700 and I can not seem to read the mep code. I have tried Logger and BB MEP reader. Both keep giving me MEP-LOADED. The bold still has 10 tries left.

Hello sir, this is very new security phone, maybe you could try to unlock it by Network, but cannot guarantee to you will 100% work.

They unlock just fine - there's NO issue unlocking a 9700. I've done mine already and it takes any SIM card. Like was said earlier, you can buy an unlock code for the phone. They're not expensive and they work just fine, or you can spend a lot of time trying to unlock it yourself with whatever free tools you can find and buy the code in the end.

+1

I've used cellunlock for my Telus 9700 and I'm happily using it on Rogers. Cannot recall if I used MEP4 or MEP5 or whatever to insert the 1 unlock code I received but it worked a treat.

Hi there - just for clarification:
I followed these steps and still got a "code error - please wait...".

My phone has only one MEP that is active (Service Provider).
This needs MEP4.
I keyed in my MEP4 code - it did not like it.
(Your msg states to enter the "network" MEP code - even though you start it by entering MEP4 - which is the "service provider").
Is this correct - that you do a MEP4, but enter the actual MEP2 code instead ?

For the CANADA Bold 9700 (instructions above).

Can you please confirm if I have to enter BOTH the MEP2 and ALSO the MEP4 codes to make this work ?
(The only "active" lock on my phone is the SP "mep4" one, but it is not working for some reason).

So, would I enter the mep2 (even though my phone would indicate I don't have to, since that lock is not active) - and "then" do the mep4 code ?

mep4 is the only one that is active.
Problem is that when I enter the mep4 code I was given, the phone chokes on it.

I used MobileInCanada.com - Mobileincanada.com (Bell, Fido, Rogers, Telus, Koodo, Solo Virgin Mobile, Wind, Videotron) a few times to unlock my phones.... always worked and very fast. Often within an hour !!!

Instructions are very straight foward each time from their web site.

I use now a BB 9700 from Telus on FIDO !!
