Hi,

I have the current BES version is 4.0.4.6. My question is:
Can i just apply the SP 4.0.7mr3? Or do I have to apply 4.0.7 first then 4.0.7mr3?

MR are usually seperate, unless anyone tells me different for 4.0

SP7 then MR3

And always backup the DB before you begin.

That should be right. You need SP7 before you do the MR install.

Back up the database, as always, and the reg keys, etc...

I intently upgrade on an existing server win2k. Can you tell me the steps?
- backup registry and database.
-extract file 4.0.7
- stop all BB services,
- run setup.
- restart
- finish

is it right?

Have a read of the install guide, as you should be very comfortable with what it tells you to do before attempting this.
