Default Where are my options with OS6?

Please Login to Remove!

While I do like OS6, it's taken some getting used to the fact that when I click the Options icon the list is no longer alphabetical. To help others out, I thought I'd toss together a quick list of where to find things with OS6. This is not a complete list, just some of the common things I've had to hunt around to find.

About screens: Options -> Device -> About Device Versions
Applications list: Options -> Device -> Application Management
AutoText: Options -> Typing and Input -> Word Substitution
Backlight: Options -> Display -> Screen Display
Convenience Keys: Options -> Device -> Convenience Keys
Date & Time Options: Options -> Display -> Date and Time
Enterprise Activation: Options -> Device -> Advanced System Settings OR Setup -> Email Accounts -> Enterprise Account
Font settings: Options -> Display -> Screen Display
IT Policy: Options -> Security -> Security Status Information
Key Tone/Rate & Currency: Options -> Typing and Input -> Keyboard
Owner Screen (when device is locked): Options -> Display -> Message on Lock Screen
Password settings: Options -> Security -> Password
Security Wipe: Options -> Security -> Security Wipe
Service Books: Options -> Device -> Advanced System Settings
Status screen: Options -> Device -> Device and Status Information
Text input (e.g., Predictive Text): Options -> Typing and Input -> Typing
Themes: Options -> Display -> Screen Display

I can add more if suggested....

The magic feature with OS6 is the universal search.

Just type the menu you're looking for in the home screen, and it will take you there...

You don't even need to know any of the menus above.

Try it... and enjoy.

You can enable the keyboard shortcuts and still use Universal search by just touching the search icon at the top of the home screen.

If you enable keyboard shortcuts on a 9700 you can use Universal Search by using the keyboard shortcut "s"

How do you enable / disable keyboard shortcuts on a 9780 with OS 6?
