Just wondering if anyone else is frustrated with the new blackberry maps on os 6. It really feels like a step back and its useless to me now. I'm happy that I still have my work 9700 on os 5, its an app that I really liked. there is no option for gps nav on my 9300 running os 6 but when I was running os 5 on it last week it had that feature. Otherwise I like os a lot but just find the lack of gps on my device annoying.

Funny thing is I was going to start a post about this, I can't seem to be able to pull address from my contact list anymore.. I really liked that feature.

Maybe RIM will clean up some of the issues when an official 9700 version is released.
I sure hope so.

We can hope, I just can't believe I can get GPS directions from my contact as easy I use to. I really hope they bring that feature.

You can get gps nav working by first getting directions. Then select my location. The track up (if not allready selected). Its a pain that they removed the GPS Nav direct option, but it does work if you have directions up and "view on map" selected, then my location kickstarts it
