Hi all, i'm new to blackberyy. Just gotten myself a bb bold 9000. I would like to ask abt sms display on my bold.

My problem scenario is:
First, my work place has poor reception or almost nil reception. when my friend sms me like 10am and at that time i'm at work and thus no reception and will not receive the sms.

Then when i left work at 3pm and my phone started having reception and thus i'm able to receive the sms that my friend sent at 10am however, when i receive it and i wish to know the timing that the sms was sent, it jus show received 1 minute ago which in this case is not right. i have to check with my friend before i know that the sms was sent at 10am and instead of 3pm.

Anyone has solution to this? Or is it the settings in my phone, which i believe is not the case as i browse thru the entire phone to look for the setting.

And my SMS conversation style setting is in the bubble type

I believe there is no setting for that.
It will show the message at time received and not time sent.

My experience has been that the date and time stamp of a message received on the Blackberry is the time it was physically received on the device and has no relation to the the time the message was sent, or even the time it was received by( in the case of email) an email client. This also becomes important in situations where the user has auto on\auto off enabled. Are you sure it is coverage, or could it be some type of device issue ie, processor load etc. It would be interesting to do some type of test to verify it was a coverage issue.
