Exclamation User keeps being Kicked off the bes (()) HELP

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Everyone,

I'm the BES admin for my company and I have 4 users out of 75 that keep having similar issues, here is everything that I have done for one of the ongoing users:

Exchange 2007 running on R2, x64
AMD, 2.81GHz, 8GB Ram

BES 4.1.6.9, Intel Xeon, 3.60Ghz, 3GB Ram
2003 R2, SP2

• Removed from the exchange and AD and recreated AD and email account on exchange
• Switched to various devicces i.e. 8800, 9000
• Removed illegal characters and populated first, last, company name fields in the addressbook
• Attempted a enterprise activation with out addressbook
• Reduced the size of the Address book entrys, and mail box size
• Changed Profile Groups on BES
• Readded and removed from the BES, and wipped handheld, to then complete a EA
• Logged BES services startup errors with RIM #(some of the errors are normal, but wanting to have an exactness of all errors no matter how small)
• Deleting the Desktop Sync book from the Blackberry to resync
• Complete the CNFG, in the enterprise activation screen on the Blackberry, to set desktop Sync to yes and no, to repage the EA

Out of the 75 Users that we have on the BES, currently we only have issues with 4 users on a regular basis, all are in one of the offices, all in the same department profile

I understand every step you have done, but I am not really clear on which problem the 4 users have. What do you mean by "kicked of the BES".

- Error messgaes?
- User still visible in Management Console?
- Log entries?

So are these contact times more current than when they got the last message?

In the Management Console do those users have Pending or Filtered messages?

have you try send service book from BES ? see the service book on device too.

or you can try first to send message. maybe it will help to analyze the problem

I'd resend service books, then I'd check available memory on the devices, if less than 15meg, I have them pull the battery on the BB device.

Only if they opt to sync with the local profile.. If you select Cancel it wont lose sync.
