Default Error message and Facebook issue

Please Login to Remove!

Okay I think these two are related but not sure.

Facebook disappeared from my 9530 Storm and I have reinstalled it 3 times, it says it was succesfully installed but there is no icon anywhere on my phone.

I also get 2 error messages everytime I do a reset (battery pull). They are...

uncaught ecxeption: java.lang.error

and

java.lang.nullpointer exception

Does anyone have ideas what is causing this?

If the errors happen every time you do a battery pull there is a) something hosed with your OS, or b) a 3rd party application causing the issue.

What other 3rd party apps do you have installed (Options -> Adv. Options -> Applications or Options -> Applications)

I deleted all of them this morning except for Backup assistant, Gmail, Player for you tube.

Could it be that one of my third party apps is for my Tour? I did a device switcher on desktop manager when I went back to my Storm. Could it be that Gmail or Player for you tube is for a different device?

Ah, yes, that could cause an issue. I'd delete all 3rd party apps and see if you're having the same issue.

I ended up deleting the 3rd party apps and it continued to do it so I hooked up to DM and reloaded the OS. it seems to be working now.

You could also go to Blackberry Beta Zone and see if you can get FB 1.8.
