Are you totally freakin kidding me? 10 people involved, and 10 people watching? i mean is that SICK or what? What kind of SICKOS would watch the rape and that too 'multiple sex acts' which were being performed. UGH. it makes me completely SICK to my very core. HANG the b*tds!!

A 1999 California law makes it illegal not to report a witnessed crime against a child, but the law applies only to children 14 and under.

Then what is a 15 year old? an adult? it makes me sad and angry.

I saw this on the evening news last night. Tough area, with lots of crime problems, but this is indefensible.

Exactly. She was 15, they raped her for 2.5 hours, and she was found "unconscious under a bench shortly before midnight Saturday, after police received a call from someone in the area who had overheard people at the assault scene 'reminiscing about the incident.'"

As many as 10 people, plus a bunch of witnesses, and nobody lifted a hand to help her, even after it was over. They left her. She was in critical condition, and they walked off and left her. Think that girl will ever trust another human male again, ever, in her entire life? No way. Assuming she can function again physically, she's already lost a huge chunk of her future. So has her future husband, assuming she can even get to that point.

If the police department lets these monsters run and hide behind someone's skirts now because of their age, I will be LIVID. If they're old enough to play, they're old enough to pay. And I'll tell you something else: if one of our boys did something like this, I'd be ready to perform the surgery myself.

I agree. Stories like this make me sick. It's amazes me how so many people can sit and watch this go on without thinking about calling the police or notifying someone at the school. Such a sad world we live in.

Fry them. I will turn down all my lights so there's plenty of electricity. How sad for the poor young woman who was raped. She will need lots of help to try to recover from this egregious abuse.

I have access to an isolated chunk of land and places to hide the bodies. I can probably find ten people to help, too. =) But, I don't feel they should simply be killed, 2.5 hours of pain and abuse sounds like a good start, though.

Ummm...hold on a second. I'm liberal left & I'd be the first one to volunteer to go find the rusty razor blades. I'm all for compassion, when its warranted. This is one of those crimes that just gets to me.

I'm originally from West Texas. There are a lot of fire ant mounds (we always called them red ants) out there. They get really pissed at intruders. Especially those that can't walk away. That's Weeks 1-2 of what I would like seen done to him.

Let's just say I have a very active imagination when it comes to dealing with scum like that, by the time I'd be finished with him, he'd be begging for the chair.
