That doesn't sound right about $15,000 per liter of fat. I would liposuct my fat out, and sell the fat to pay for it with a big profit if that's the case.

That figure has to be way lower and the authorities are juicing up the figure like they do with drug busts.

I saw one that said $60k. If that's the case, with your liposuction idea, minus cost of sugery, minus airfare & accomodations...hell, I don't have to work anymore!!!
