Default Unable to save update to user statistics

Please Login to Remove!

Recently upgraded to SP6. Today I tried "Clear Statistics" from BB Manager and it gives a pop-up window with the error: Unable to save update to user statistics.
MNGR log has the following:
"SQL error: [0x80004005 Error executing extended stored procedure: Invalid number of parameters."
Any ideas what the problem/fix is?
Thanks!

hmmm I would try it on another user and if you are able to repro with another user then go back to the first user and see if you can repro the issue.

If you can then I would call RIM support as it sounds like a bug... "Invalid number of parameters". Also does it clear the stats for the user???

Hi, Ash,
Tried on several users - same error. Error is only with clearing user stats and it does NOT clear the stats.
I'm able to add and delete users without problems as well as clearing SERVER stats OK.
Contacted RIM (we have Tx1). So far only in the stages of answering some questions (BB Manager local on server or remote? answer=local) - then try remote and see if problem also happens - will install remote and try it.
We upgraded from 4.1.4 to 4.1.6 if that has anything to do with it.
Regards,

Hmmm maybe also bump up the MNGR logging to level 7 (via the registry) it will log all of the DB calls...

Just tried your suggestions, Ash. I changed DebugLogLevel to 7 for Manager. Started Manager, tried Clear Stats (user) and closed Manager, then changed log level back to 3.
Nothing additional of interest: a bunch of SQL select, data = and ADO return success. Then the same errors (Error executing extended stored procedure: Invalid number of parameters...".
By the way, I installed BB Manager on my workstation (XP with SP3) as Tx1 suggested and tried it there; same error, it happens both on the local server and remote Manager.
I'm waiting to hear back from Tx1.
Regards,

hmmmm I tested this on my server and it worked fine but I'm an Exchange shop... and I see in your sig your Domino...

Unless it is something wrong in your DB.

Anywone else running BESD 4.1.6 can you try to clear stats for a user to see if you can repro the issue?

BESD 4.1.4, yes I know it's not 4.1.6, clear stats worked fine for me from a remote Manager on my desktop. Haven't done the upgrade to 4.1.6 yet.

Thanks.
DavidAdams, let me know after you upgrade to 4.1.6 - we upgraded from 4.1.4 and this problem started after the upgrade to 4.1.6.
I discovered that if I "clear stats" for the same user a second time, then I don't get the error and the stat DO clear OK.
