Yesterday I used my device to record some video. The files saved have .grp extensions. How do I convert those to files that I can share with friends and family who do not own similar devices? How would I also convert them to be used with UTube for instance?

I don't know about .grp files, but my curve records video in .3gp extension and it plays perfectly well through a free player called VLC media player, google it and have your F&F download it too, that way you won't have to convert anything, just email it from your phone I think you tube will allow a .3gp to be uploaded to their site, but I don't know for certain...

My bad, you are correct, the file extension is .3gp. As suggested I d/l'd the VLC media player. The video runs, after some messing, but I do not get the audio, this is the erro message that I get: No suitable decoder module:
VLC does not support the audio or video format "samr". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this.

Suggestions?

You need to update your phone OS to version 4.5 in order to get the video camera. Look at the stickies at the top of the forum for your phone model number and follow the instructions EXACTLY.

Quicktime plays 3gp videos. If you have iTunes, you also have Quicktime.
