I have read here that BES is not suppoted by cluster server, so what is the best solution? Using multi BES server.....

The best practice that I can think if is to create a manual fail over. Basically two BES Servers set up the EXACT same on to different servers. One currently running all services, while the other has the services disabled. So in the event BB01 goes down, all you need to do is stop it's services and Start the Services on BB02... That's my Cluster/fail over setup .. Anybody know of anything better?

One currently running all services, while the other has the services disabled (Because two Servers with same SRPID = BAD). So in the event BB01 goes down, all you need to do is stop it's services and Start the Services on BB02... That's my Cluster/fail over setup .. Anybody know of anything better?

BES is not a cluster capable application therefore if something happens to BES the Windows cluster will not automatically failover.

You can still run BES in a Windows Cluster and perform switchover manually. For other DR scenario perform a search, numerous scenario has been discussed in this forum.

If i set up a test server with test srp and authentication key. will i be able to copy over users and their configuration from my current running bes 4.1?

Yes, if both servers use the same database. Otherwise no.

Well the two BES approach was great when SQL didn't play such a large role, I can build a BES in 1 hour if that .. getting the SQL replicated and not having users run another activation is the goal ..

Everyone has a slightly different version of DR. I'm going for HA now ..
