. . . . then again I probably am losing my mind!

I think you might be. I see no such functionality.

I edited the blackberry.alx file for Cingular (vendor code 102). I would post the file but afraid it would add great confusion to many users here.

i can easily crash my 8700g running this 4.2 release by listening to some ringtones. After 3 of 4 tries the blackberry crashes with a java error. Could reproduce this in 3 different 8700g devices.

I have noticed that Dimension Zen has the quickest response time.

Interesting. I've seen probably 10+ devices on BES, BIS, no 3rd party apps, lots of 3rd party apps and no lag.
The only lag I've noticed is in Messenger when my conversation histories get really long. Clear the history and every thing's back to normal.

I got it running - the new AT&T theme is cool.
BTW did anyone notice that it now has the option to turn off data services in the mobile network section under settings? No more hacking the GPRS files.
I need to change my signature now!

got it installed, no problems - during install.
It looks good, nice new features, but it really slows the poor device down.
And my KlickTel (German phone number search plus inverse) does not work anymore.

Message Background Color - Security Settings
Another "enhancement" (depending on the eye of the beholder) is that you have the ability to set your BES messages to have a different background than your other messages or vice-versa; see enclosed screenshots.

Is Verizon supported for this? I'm getting the same error as Nomis:
"Blackberry PGP Email Library" can't be loaded....

I'm probably not thinking carefully enough, but why do I potentially need to be able to exclude my address book from content protection? Does this have something to do with bluetooth integration in cars when it transfers the address book or something?
Thank you!

exclusion of address book from content protection indicates that you will be able to see who is calling.

Maybe I am missing something here, but can you not organize applications in the zen theme anymore? This will really suck if thats the case.

You have to do it like you do in icon. Go to application list, hold alt and click.

Since 4.2 has the T-mo MyFaves built in, do I need to modify the ALX files to get it working? I know I need to tell them I'm on a pearl to get them to add it to my account though.
