Installed the OS (upgrade and not clean install) and did not experience the constant rebooting on AT&T as the previous beta; however, I still get two random reboots and had to redo the Browser work around.
There was some initial error where none of my media would play; however a battery pull solved that problem.
Battery life doesn't seem too improved but this is just an initial feel and observation.
As for the link requests it was posted by someone who uploaded it to rapidshare and the link is no longer valid. I've messaged him to re-post and will reply to the PM's as soon as he replies with a new link.

Thank you...or you could just post the install file on megaupload yourself. Or you could send it to me and I can post to rapidshare ;)

Yeah there's no reboot issues. About the only issue the firmware has is the same ol memory leak.

Looks like we're going to be skipping the .362 and going straight for the .390. Will have my 9700 by then.

What's up with this PM-ing non sense? Just post the links for gods sake like seriously people. And this is not just on this forum. This is on every bb forum on the new. Even german ones and swedish ones its crazy. What is up with this release? Why is it crowded in such secrecy? Does it turn my bold in a touch screen bold? If not then just post it! I PM'd like 5 people and no one got back so this leads me to believe that this is just a joke some bored moron is playing. Just post it for people and stop f*cking around...please.

Ahh... Nice... I guess we're on the same boat here.
Well, X-Mas is coming up, and my younger brother hasn't been nerdified enough, so I guess giving him my Bold will be good...
if anyone has any info on the whereabouts of any OS update AFTER 5.0.0.314, I would be very grateful if you share the info

Not sure about the "PM'ing" you speak of, but most people who have this software don't really talk about it; i.e. your post. Fact remains you(general public) don't have this software for a reason, it's not been released. So until it is, quit being selfish in wanting someone to risk their employment just so you can load unreleased software. It's really not that big of a deal, and both 362 and 390 really aren't any better than previous releases.

Seriously though. Don't PM me regarding these releases. They will leak if and when they leak. And I will post for your general information.

Thanks Jason and Raptor. I have been helped by this forum many times over the years and I was only trying to pass on information about the release and how it runs on my 9000. For me the big concern was being on the AT&T network and the constant reboots on the .348 release. I thought I would just share the information with others who might be interested.

when it came to .348 which is installed on my phone, it leaked at around 2pm eastern time on a day that escapes me at this moment. By 2:30 of that same day, that beta release was pretty much on every BB forum u can think of posted with about 10 different rapid and megaup---d links on each forum. This one leaked four days ago, and no one has posted it and those very few who did managed to somehow get it (if it does in fact exist), don't want to share it with others. And u call me selfish. All i want is for everyone to enjoy what we're here to enjoy. Sharing is part of what we do, and I'm pretty sure we're all here for the same reason. So there is no need for this "if you're good enough, u can have a copy" attitude or whatever. This takes me back to the days of Napster and upload/download ratios. If i upload two Hendrix concerts, i can then download one zepplin concert. I don't think so. I was under the impression that we've moved past this point, no? And if u have a fear of losing ur job over publishing a beta, then don't come into a forum where people go crazy over leaked software, and boast that u have an unreleased beta in ur possession and are unwilling to share it with the rest of the thousands of people that come into this section looking for links that are attached to....i don't know....software maybe? Like hello????
