It's still much faster than midpssh in many respects, assuming you use a normal font such as 5 point or 7 point. Some fonts really slow down MobileSSH, try selecting a 7 point font, which is usually the fastest font. For bigger fonts, try using one of the fixed pitch fonts, which generally perform significantly faster than variable-pitch fonts. MobileSSH contains
a lot of nice features, provides a lot of configurability, and allows you to multitask many telnet/ssh sessions concurrently too.
However, if light use is all you need, midpssh works well. The best thing to do is download a free trial of Idokorro MobileSSH (enter
www.idokorro.com in your BlackBerry) and download midpssh and try both out, and see which fits your needs.
