Default Docs To Go and 4.5.0.28

Please Login to Remove!

Just something I noticed today, with 4.5.0.28 you can now download word (not sure about anything else) attachments to open/edit with Docs To Go. With previous Betas, you could only edit files added manually to your BB from your computer.

Certainly a step in the right direction!

I also am running 4.5.0.18 and the Word document to go is working correctly as well. I am glad to see this feature, Docs To Go, added. It is very useful for my work.''

I think its due to the fact that 07 saves as .docx
I have noticed some compatability issues with other things thus far

Question Docs to Go for BB - Please fill me in!

I'm a newb, so help me out here - I didn't think Docs to Go was available for BlackBerrys at all - Now I read you guys using it with the 4.5 OS. I'm really missing my DTG after converting from a Palm. Plus, just reading the titles of the posts related to downloading OS 4.5 reads like a horror story. Info please!

It's actually quite easy to fix that issue; just make sure you save your documents in the "Word 97-2003 Document" format as opposed to the default .docx as Drewdatrip had mentioned.

I have a Verizon 8830 World Edition, but apparently no SIM Card (When I go into Options/Advanced/SIM Card, it reads "No Valid SIM Card.") Next dumb question: What's a SIM Card?

(God bless this Newb - an old Newb at that!) I have a SIM card - Iwatched the Verizon sales rep install it. But I didn't use it to transfer any data from my other phone. Is this SIM card any good to me? ...such as transferring data to it to free up some internal memory?
