Default Backing up of pictures

Please Login to Remove!

Hi i get annoyed when i do a backup or sync with the desktop software that the previous backup of pictures is copied back onto the BB. I deleted them off the device for a reason and don't want them back on it. Is there anyway i can stop this happening? I have searched and searched through the properties or options in the Desktop software but can't figure it out. Oh i also don't want videos back on the device too. I need as much space as possible :0) So would appreciate some help thanks

Are you doing a restore of your backup or a sync?

If a restore, the pics and videos are in the backup file you are restoring. I would delete all the old backup files from your PC. Then delete the pics and videos you do not want on your device, then create a new backup file. That way the next time you restore, you should only have the one backup file to restore.

No not restoring. So there is no option but to manually go through all the pictures/compare what i do have and what i don't and then do the sync? very annoying :0(
