I am hoping someone can help me...

If I delete a user and add them back at a later stage, I am not able to reactivate them to the same device or a new one.

I have never been able to get Wireless activation working, so we have always activated via the desktop manager as the BB server is offsite.

When you open the Desktop Manager on the users machine, it still picks up the device pin last used, if you go into the device manager it has all their history / stats.

If you plug in a new device it picks up that it is a new device, askes to generate a new key and then goes no further...


How ever if I setup a new user they work 100%...

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the BB Server software completely, but kept the database as I dont have to have to re-activate all my other users.

Any ideas?


The server setup is as follows

BB 4.1.6
Windows 2003 SP2 (32bit)
Exchange 2003 (running on a seperate server)
SQL 2000

your user is probably pending delete. look for where you can purge the user.
