Default

The Faves are stored in Tmobile's site. You should backup the phone using Desktop Mgr before you upgrade the software, then restore all your settings (pictures for Faves, ringtones, calendar, address book, etc) after you upgrade. You may have to reassign the faves pix and ringtones afterward however.
