Thanks for the notification of the update.

I downloaded/installed it this morning and rebooted my Blackberry a few times after the install (just to make sure). For some reason, the phone book integration doesn't work on my Bold 9700. When I select the contact or even the contact's phone number, I don't have an option within the menu to use BlackVoib to make the call. I can see other options like use Google Voice to make the call or use Google Voice to send an SMS, etc. but I don't see any option of using BlackVoib to make the call.

I don't see the option to dial from the phonebook on my Bold 9000. Also, I need a way to dial * and #. It doesn't seem to allow that.

I was on the prior version of BV. Some calls worked many didn't. I would get consistent CALL FAILED but every once in while the call would complete. I updgraded to v0.601 beta and I receive CALL FAILED all of the time now. NR IDLE is also being displayed. Any suggestions?

BlackVoib 0.75 released

With phone book and contact integration. BlackVoib needs to be running in the background for the menu selections to show up.

Thanks for the notice of the update as well as instructions on how to get BlackVoib to use the Contact/Addressbook (i.e. BlackVoib must be running in the background).

As a suggestion for your program, have it run in the background automatically when the person presses the "back" key (or whatever the key is called which is between the trackpad and the phone-off key). If doing this, also have an option from within BlackVoib's menu itself which will allow the user to Exit/Close the program (not run it in the background).

I find if your program does this (automatically run in the background) when someone uses the "back" key as opposed to what happens now when they press the "back" key where the program now asks you if you're sure whether you want to exit it or not, easier than keeping your finger pressed on the "Blackberry" key until the programs running in the background are listed and then selecting the "Home" and then going into "Contacts".

I'm not sure if I'm explaining my suggestion properly.

OK. Send BlackVoib to the back on the Escape key.

Does it work over 3G?

I tried to register with Localphone
Domain: localphone.com
Proxy: proxy.localphone.com

it told me that IP address of localphone.com and proxy.localphone.com can't be resolved.

I don't have WIFI connect now.

For me, it works over 3G but I don't use LocalPhone. I use VoIP.ms

Which carrier are you with?

I am with At&T in US. It seems that AT&T blocked VOIP over 3G.

I'm in Canada... I'm using Rogers Wireless (as stated in my signature and my profile) and it works via 3G. However, the sound quality via 3G on my 9700 is not the best (cut offs in speech).

For me, it is almost impossible to have any long conversation over 3G on my Blackberry Bold 9700 (unlike my iPhone on 3G as well).
