Is it possible to access web based apps and or ssh to devices on the inside of our network from the outside on a BB using BES as the bridge?
If so can anyone point me to any docs on this?

WebBased Apps: Browser, so long as you have the MDS turned on.
SSH: try Idokorro Mobile SSH, their MobileDesktop also works well.

MDS is running. So I can just point to the private IP from the BB?
I tried this and it timed out.

Check your proxy server settings on the BES.

And make sure you're using the BlackBerry (MDS) Browser and not the Internet Browser...
