http://www.traffic.com lets you choose a city (including Los Angeles) and have updates sent to your BB.

For those of you in metro-Atlanta, go to www.georgia-navigator.com and you can bookmark a website for your PDA/cell phone to get access to live traffic cameras, the electronic traffic boards and reports on contruction, etc.

I am not sure if other states have similar sites.

bbSpell is available at www.somedevelopers.com. bbSpell is the most complete solution available (Spelling, Thesaurus, Dictionary, Multi-Language, Advanced Heuristics, etc) There is a free limited use version, and an unlimitted version which costs $35/year. You could also search for a free spell checker called bbCorrector.
