Default 5.0 os and vvm problems

Please Login to Remove!

i see people have had problems in my search but i do not understand how to fix it. how do i get my vvm back? yes i resent service books

5.0.0.238 is the only one that includes the VVM files. If you loaded a different version then you need to load the VVM .COD files from another version.

ok i used bbsak and put in 5 vvm cod i found on the web. it re started and still nothing. no icon when i get a message it appears in my text box and says from 10000 or somthing and then a bunch of jumbled stuff in the message. any ideas

Call AT&T and ask them to reactivate VVM on your phone. Sometimes it gets screwy when switching with the 5.0 os's it's happened to a few people.

will they ask what os i have and if they do will i get into trouble? is it possible the cod i have dont work with 5. 0.411?

They might ask but you won't get in trouble, the only way a 5.0 os would cause problems was if you were trying to get a warranty fix done. Also the .CODs should work, I'm use the ones from 5.0.0.238 on .411 and it works fine for me.

i installed 1 wrong cod i had 5 but was missing one and they had a different one in the pack. after i found the right 5 files it is working now. thank you

Which vvm cods are needed for installation? (Got 'em from the current 9700 5.0 OS, 43 total.) Happy 2010!
