Default How to Set Forward Calls on Storm 1

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Storm 1. On my previous pearl I had forwarded calls on no answer to another phone. I cannot find a way on the Storm 1 to turn the forward off. Under help it says to go to phone menu options (where it was also located on the pearl) which I did but forward option does not exist there. Help please? Thanks

You could always use *72. (I think that is the universal code.) I don't have a call forward option on either my Tour or my Droid on Verizon. I actually have a contact record for call forwarding with *72 plus my personal number on my work phone and *72 plus my work number on my personal phone. (I frequently forward one to the other so I only have to carry one.) I put *73 (end call forward) on the contact as well.

Problem is my phone has a forward set through the phone setup on the prior pearl, yet the storm has no way for me to release the forward that I can see. Any idea why the pearl has that feature yet the storm does not?

"Call forward" and "No answer forward(Busy transfer)" are two different options.

For Verizon: *72<destination #> [Send] is to activate "Call forward", which will forward ANY CALLS, and you phone won't even ring, it happens at network side.

*71<destination #> [Send] is to activate "No answer transfer/Busy transfer", which will only forward your call if there is no answer, busy, and/or you hit "Ignore". It won't go to your normal VZW voice mail, rather transfer the calls to the destination number you specified.

To cancel "No answer transfer, *920 [Send]. To cancel "call forwarding", *73 [Send]
