Default Google Talk problem

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

I've looked through as many 'GTalk' threads as I could find, but couldn't find an answer to my problem.

How exactly do i load the application? Should there be an icon for it?

I've installed 'Google Talk' on my 8707 using my blackberry browser over-the-air, but there's no icon anywhere. The thing is, when I go into Advanced and Applications, Google Talk 1.0.21 is listed, so it would appear that it's definitely installed.

I've done a few hard resets, and I've also checked my 'hidden' icons, just to be sure.

Am I doing something really stupid?
Any help would be much appreciated...

Wirelessly posted (eighty-seven hundred: BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Gtalk homes a lot of issues. For example; I installed gtalk and it bricked my 8800 [no joke.] I suggest you uninstall the application and never look back.

What's the OS version in your 8707.. I never have any problem with Gtalk.. (I have never used a 8707 though)

Anything special in eventlog? Press alt-lglg in the home screen to see eventlog..
