Default 8300 dashmount cradle.

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

Anyone got a good model of a dashmount cradle for an 8300? I've tried a generic PDA cradle and it cramps in the voice dial and the camera keys so the device doesn't work too well.

looking to plug it into the aircon vents rather than screw it in.

thanks

bb

This is a great solution:
ProClip Mounting System - Choose Your Country

They do not offer it for the 8300 yet- call and ask though. I use them for my 8700 and love it- completely removable-no screws.

Good Luck and enjoy your 8300-we are all envious!

I vote for the pro clip people, too. Sad as I just got their new 8800 holder and I had quite using the 8800 to go back tot he 8700. It will be awhile for the 8300 but they will have one for sure.

The ProClip devices are two parts, one that fits onto your dash without making a single hole and the device holder that attaches to that.

They are the very best!

Yep!!!! especially as I blagged it of my carrier rep at WES..

ok I'll have a look at pro-clip in due course...although the pricing is a bit steep, 30 euros just for the mounting bracket, let alone the holder..

Before I purchased it I looked around quite a bit. There is not another option without drilling a hole or using a "gooseneck" bolted to your carseat. I use it every day, it is at eye level, has a holder for my handsfree earbud. It is worth every penny to me, especialy since there are not alot of other options. Most car holders cost $ too- it is not like they are a cheap item.

Good Luck

Just wanted to say thanks for the great tip on ProClip! I'm about to buy one for my iPod!! I'm sure I'll want to buy the "horizontal extender" so I can also use it with my as-yet-to-be-purchased T-Mobile 8300 as well...

Thanks for the link!!
