A Blackberry DAta plan, is a plan designed for blackberry to enabled you to surf the web, have push email, use applications.

My guess is, if you don't know what one is, you don't have it.

I'm pretty sure the OP doesn't even have a data plan, nor is on a BES.

But to answer an already answered question, just call your Carrier and tell them that you'd like a BlackBerry Data Plan.

Backup, Bberry_krv .... I don't know exacltly what you mean by msn, whether you mean the RIM microsoft messaenger app or what. You need to be clear. Do you have a _blackbery_ data plan. Regular mobile data service is not the same thing if you want to use a blackberry branded application, such as app world.

Do you have blackberry-specific data service?

They might have a basic internet plan, or maybe an IM plan, or IM and email.

But by the sounds of it, you need "blackberry-specific data service" a
blackberry data plan.

Why don't you call your carrier and ask what service you are paying for and see if you could upgrade to a blackberry data plan if desired.
