It would be a better phone if it had a improved browser experience.

Try Safari and report back...
The Blackberry browser was pretty good back in the 7230 and 7290 days but it really hasn't improved much since then. Opera's interface is just a mess (designed for mobile phones and not the BB), you can't set it as the default, you can't download with it and you still can't directly enter text into text fields.

I have a buddy flying for UPS. I steered him to the 8320 a couple of months ago. He just sent me a pin yesterday thanking me because UMA is saving him TONS of money in phone calls back home from China. Definitely, the 8320 and UMA rock.

Yeah the 8320 kickz azz, I had a 8100 (Pearl) before that and I really enjoyed the 8100, but the 8320 (Curve) is awsome! As for the browsing, even the BB browser beats WAP on a regular phone.

I was looking at the iPhones that are for sale on the lower right side. The 4gb for 499.99 and the 8gb for 399.99. I wonder how many 4gbs they're selling.
The ultimate device would have to have wifi, gps & camera all in one.

Not sure why people quote the safari web browser on the iphone as good. Have you surfed the web on an iphone? It's like being in jelly, with peanut butter mixed in. S L O W.

I beg to differ. I had an Iphone before my Curve and the browser was as fast as my Computer. I love my Curve, but I do know for a fact that iPhone has a much much better browser than any phone on the market.

Not to sound crass, but if your iphone loads pages as fast as your computer then you need to either upgrade your computer or invest in some broadband... I've done side by side tests and the iphone browser's speed is lacking every time. Why did you go to a curve from an iphone if I may ask?

Lol my internet speed is 3mb/sec so I dont think thats the problem and as for my computer, I bought a customized HP laptop with the best memory there was at the time 5 months ago, so you can take the laptop, as a problem, away too. I switched from the iPhone to the BB because I recieve loads of emails daily that I have to read/answer during work time. Iphone is a pretty cool phone, but does not have an internet service like BB does. And I also bought it just because it was something "new" and "cool" to have, but I realize that it does not fit my requirements.
I think you're the first person, I've heard complaining about iPhone's browser. Not saying in a rude way just fyi.

I just got a Curve after selling my iPhone. The browser on the iPhone > *all phones.
I do received emails and such all day, but I have my business COU for that.
I just did it because as I'm waiting for the 3G iPhone or a price drop. I also got the Curve for $99 and sold the iPhone for $360. My Ex paid $380 (my employee discount through at&t)
Besides the iPhone, I don't think any phone is a sexii as the Curve. These two are two different beasts and they are both #1 to me.

Firstly, I love my 8320! I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Having said that, the link's list in the first post (by PC World) is somewhat odd. I have used Palm Treo phones for several years and they are truly great yet the only one mentioned in that list is the worst Treo there is (the Centro). There's just no way that Windows Mobile 6 is better than the Palm OS.
The iPhone isn't mentioned (some argue it isn't a truly "smart phone" but boo-boo on that) and it is a very good phone.

If you have the iPhone connected via Wi-Fi the browsing experience should be fast. Of course, over EDGE, it won't be nearly as quick.
